I am a student at UC Berkeley and have finally admitted to myself that I really have no need for my beloved bimmer any longer. After owning it for a little over two years I have not even put 8k miles on the car, most of which were trips down the coast to visit friends at other UC campuses. I have given the car numerous upgrades (complete soundsystem, E38 740il wheels w/ nearly new tires, Dinan chip, etc.) and would like to sell the car to someone who appreciates the E28 bodystyle as well as the tasteful improvements.

-Delphin Grey on Sand/Tan leather interior

-5 speed manual transmission

-142.5k miles---exceptionally low for the M30 engine

-Very thorough maintainance records from 1999->

-Alpine Headunit w/ tapedeck connected to trunkmounted 6 disc CD changer

-Lightning Audio 4x50(rms) amp pushing Pioneer 4"x6" coaxials up front and Sony 6"x9" coaxials in the rear deck custom installed with spacers-(Meaning the rear deck has not been cut or had its integrity compromised in any way.)

-Dinan Performance Chip - +29 ft./lb @ 2000 rmp and ~20 hp at 5900 rpm

-E38 740il Forged Aluminum BBS wheels with Falken GRBeta 225/50/16ZR tires-(Much better than the TRX metric wheels that were on the car when I bought it...They are quiet, shed water very well and improve the handling and traction limits of the car immensely.)

The paint is in better than average condition but the clearcoat is peeling on the trunk. I will send more detailed pictures to interested buyers if they wish to see more. The car is nearly 20 years old and as such is not in mint condition...that is why i am not asking for a mint condition price.

I live near the UC Berkeley campus so if you would like to schedule an appointment to come by and look at the car or take it to your mechanic for a PPI that way you can plan accordingly. I am happy to answer any and all questions about her and love talking to other BMW enthusiasts about the pre-Bangleized models back when these machines looked as good as they drive. I have tons more pictures and can take more of any part of the car and send them to serious buyers but if you are just looking around please do not waste my time as I have an immense class load in addition to playing 2 sports and a part-time job.
