Text: I am selling a 1999 Ford Expedition XLT 4x4 with the 4.6 liter engine. This car is in great condition. It is dark green with two-tone tan cloth interior. The low blue book on the car is 6500, but I am willing to sell it for 6000 OBO
It comes fully loaded with:
power windows, power locks, power steering, tilt wheel, air condition (dual zone climate controls, front and rear), cruise control, AM/FM stereo cassette, 6-disc cd changer, premium sound speakers, dual front air bags, 4 wheel anti lock brakes, third row seating, roof rack, illuminated running boards, and alloy wheels.
The Good:
-The interior of the car is perfect, there is not a rip, tear or worn spot anywhere on the seats, and there is no discoloration or cracks anywhere in the dash or door panels.
-Car use to belong to my mom's corporation so it had all the maintenance done on time and by the Ford Dealership.
-Car has 179,00 miles (95% freeway commuting miles) but at 164,000 miles The Ford dealership installed all new head gaskets ($2000) and I had the cooling system flushed, all of the fluids drained and replaced, new front and rear brakes, and some other things totaling ($1200).
-When the car was at the dealership I asked about putting in a brand new engine instead of doing those services but they said that the engine was in such great condition that I did not need to replace it and they said that to have a new engine put in would just be a waste of the extra money. Also the other mechanic that performed the other services along with Ford said that the car will last for a very long time still.
The Bad:
-The exterior is in great condition, but there are some minor scratches on the car above the driver side front fender well, but other then those scratches there are no blemishes on the car.
-The car does have 179,000 miles but like i said there was a complete work up done on it at 164,00 miles and 95% of those miles were freeway commuting miles.
-The breaks also squeak a little bit but I had them checked out a few months ago by a mechanic and he said that there was still 70% on the front breaks and 80% on the back breaks and that sometimes breaks just make a little noise, but mine were fine
If you are interested email me or call me on my cell at 916-719-7994, and ask for Shaun. If there is no answer leave a message and I will call you back as soon as possible. To all of the people that called before, sorry I did not get back to you but I was out of town and had trouble receiving my messages and then when I got back they had all been erased. I have attached some pictures to give you an idea of what the car looks like but if you need more pictures just let me know. Please NO LOWBALLERS so if you are going to call and offer me something like 4500 or 4000 don't waste my time and yours.
