Text: I will unlock Sony Ericsson GSM phone for $9. If you don’t
know what unlocking is – look at the bottom of this post first. The best
time/place to do it is in the evening (6PM-11PM) or weekends in Cupertino
area - hwy 280 and Lawrence
expwy. In case you can not meet in the evening -
daytime near Great America park in Santa

Answers to FAQ:
1) SONY ERICSSON ONLY
- can not unlock other brands, sorry. Can not unlock latest models like S710A Z500A Z520
W600i etc. Please see list below for supported models.
2) !!!
AT&T / Cingular customers --- the
service I offer is exactly what you need to avoid buying a new phone because of
the two providers merging. This sounds ridiculous, but they will not unlock
your current phone, and require buying a new one when "switching"
from AT&T to Cingular!
3) In order to
unlock a phone, I need the phone and charged battery (SIM card is not required,
subscription not required).
4) It normally
takes a couple of minutes to unlock a phone.
5) I can clear any provider's lock, not
only AT&T/Cingular.
6) I can do
optional firmware upgrades on the most SonyEricsson phones as well. Ask me
about specific model and I will find latest firmware for your phone. You may
get better performance, reception and extra features with newer firmware.

: UNLOCKED GSM phone can be used with any SIM-card (from any provider in the
world) - and will work.
The beauty of GSM phones is the ability to change phones or service providers
at will. Inside every GSM phone is a SIM card, which contains information about
your subscription to your provider. Transferring that SIM card to another phone
transfers your subscription to that device. Changing the SIM card in your phone
lets you keep your same hardware while changing providers. This is particularly
appealing when travelling abroad as prepaid SIM cards can save significantly
over international roaming charges.
Most large GSM providers (including all of those in the Americas)
"lock" their phones to prevent you from using sim cards from other
providers. This makes it impossible to keep your hardware when changing
services. It also prevents you from using phones that are sold by other
providers. Additionally, the only way to use your phone abroad is to pay high
roaming charges.
Getting your phone unlocked will eliminate this restriction, thus allowing you
