I have a very nautical looking ships clock (powered by an AA battery) that also has temperature and humidity gauges.This is not a cheap plastic thing that lasts a year or so and throw it away toy. It has a SOLID BRASS cover that is hinged at the top with screw down “dogs” and a beveled glass cover. The base is varnished SOLID OAK. It is 10 inches in diameter. See the pictures.
