Text: This is that very Rare Model that looks somewhat like a Bentley (only 28,000 made). First, and most importantly, it has 38,000 documented miles (about the miles of your average 3 year old car); and it is in BETTER SHAPE than your average 3 year old car. Not perfect, but a solid 9+ (on a scale of 1 to 10).
(Think of what you'd pay for a nice 3 year old Lincoln with 38,000 miles - which doesn't have NEARLY the class this Classic does.)
I seriously don't think they've EVER used the trunk OR the Back seat (Those are both not only 10.0's, but, AS NEW) Driver's seat has minimal cracking from leather age (no tears or wear spots. Passenger seat, vitually perfect. So is rest of interior. EVERY LITTLE thing works, including the heated outside mirrors. It has about 15 push button computer read-out lights that tell you, your fuel mileage, how many gallons of fuel you've used-and have remaining day/date/time, distance since last fillup, distance since last marker you've set
absolutely incredible wealth of information. 5.0 liter small V-8 (302, I think);but still at 265hp has all the power you'd need. Just drove it up from Phoenix and got 21.4mpg (couldn't believe it: I was told by a trucker if I put on a special air filter I could get it up to 24-25. City driving only 16-17mpg (with current air cleaner. Still excellent gas mileage for a good size luxury car with this much room. Four month old tires. These were old wealthy folks who used it to go to the market twice a week, and Church on Sundays. Never drove it in the rain or at night. They had personal attendant who took the car in for every service at the Lincoln dealer's. They changed the oil every 3 months (sometimes that was after 400 miles! A/C has been converted over to 134 and it doesn't just blow cold - it blows ice cubes! They were in their late 80's and couldn't drive any more. Broke their heart to see it go. Their attendant has to drive them in their Lexus now (the big, pricey one), and they consider IT a step down from their Lincoln. I have to agree. They just don't make cars like this any more (except maybe Bentley's and other mostly hand-made cars). Power windows & power vent windows, power seats driver's: is 8 or 12-way
passenger seat 6 or 8 way. Power heated, O/S mirrors. Thermometer tells you what the temp. and humidity is outside (in case you have a bad hair day, I guess). Power door locks, inside power trunk control, inside gas cap control.
Combination outside lock (in case you've been drinking I guess, but you can still use the key. Lighted vanity visors(no hair dryers). I know a good deal about cars, and they had extras on this car I never knew existed. Engine and Transmission runs like a top (really not fully broken in yet). If you take care of this car, it should last you at least another 150,000 miles (and it'll really NEVER go out of syle). It's snow white, with very, very dark royal blue leather - closer to navy. Stunning-Plus.
