1971 VW Bug

MUST SEE! SHE'S ADORABLE and appears to be mostly ORIGINAL 1971 bug. Strong 1600cc engine. Reads 37k and change. I'm assuming this means 137k. Starts up no problem every time. Freeway travels comfortably at 65-70. I've kept this car maintained while I've had it. Car gets thumbs up from Bugformance. New tires. Breaks are solid. VW chrome hubcaps in good condition Newly tinted rear windows. Interior is in pretty good condition, noticeable wear. Carpet worse for ware in spots could be original...explains wear. New carpet kit comes included with car. Headliner is white good condition, could stand cleaning. The car is clean. Hard to find rust. small bondo fix 3inx1in on top of passenger rear fender, picture below, don't know what it's from, I bought the car like that. The car does have one or two minor dings and paint has faded in spots on the front apron and hood. Brick red paint, most likely original color, peaks thru in corners. Paint is good for the most part take a look at the pictures. All chrome is present and in good condition. Stickers on tail lights and rear window have been removed since pictures were taken. Trunk is carpeted with spare tire. Turn signals, hazards, highbeams, brake lights, reverse lights, windshield wipers all work. In need of a new bulb or two. Other issues, gas guage doesn't work, ten gallon tank. It's easy to do the math though. I fill up approximately every 200 miles. Light bulb backlight in instrument cluster needs to be replaced. Interior light doesn't work. Front defrost and dash vent/heater buttons don't appear to work. Floor heaters work very well. Parking Break is solid. AM/FM CD player with removable face, remote. Two 6x9 speakers in rear brand unknown as of yet. Lockable glovebox. Great candidate for easy restoration, resto/mod or daily driver!

SHE'S A BLAST TO DRIVE, EASY TO LEARN 4 SPEED STICK. Dependable, cheap to maintain and cheap to fill up!! oh ya, the horn doesn't work.

Was thinking about installing an air horn in the trunk...mostly for sh*ts and giggles but to get my point across when on the road. This car COMES with a BRAND NEW carpet kit(dark grey) and BRAND NEW running boards in box, neither installed. Not the right time in my life to own two cars. Have too many other expenses.
