Text: I have broken up my darkroom equipment package and am now selling my inventory by the item. This equipment was my personal collection of tools and is clean and well taken care of. It has not not been used for a few years and has been carefully packed and stored. My photographic career spanned over 40 years including over 20 years of being associated with Ansel Adams as a student, assistant, instructor, and second printing assistant for his Special Edition Prints of Yosemite for 10 years. I was responsible for the processing and archival handling of the prints made from his original negatives before and after his death.
The age varies on my equipment, but all of it has a lot of good years of use left in it. Some of the trays were fairly new replacements at the time of my retirement and other items saw infrequent use. Here's what is currently available:
ENLARGING LENSES/FOCUSERS
Peak Enlarging Grain Focuser, Magna-Sight Enlarging Focuser, Schneider Componon-S 150mm f/5.6 enlarging lens, EL-Nikkor 135mm f/5.6 enlarging lens.
PRINT TRAYS/WASHERS
3- 8x10 Cescolite Print trays 2- 11x14 deep Cescolite Print trays $20ea., 7- 11x14 Kodak Print trays (The Kodak Yellow trays were simply the best plastic tray I ever used. Yes, they really are the famous Kodak brand yellow color. Very cool and hard to find these days), 6- 16x20 Kodak Print trays, 4- 20x24 Cescolite Print trays, 1- 20x24 deep Kodak print tray, 6- stainless steel 4x5 film developing trays, East Street Gallery 11x14 archival print washer (the grandmother of all the acrylic archival washers and still kicks butt at it's age), Zone VI 16x20 archival print washer (a hand-me-down from Ansel's surplus that was used to wash the Yosemite SEPs, a workhorse of a washer)
EASELS/PAPER SAFE/MISC.
Premier 11x14 paper safe, Saunders 11x14 adjustable easel, Saunders 16x20 borderless easel, Saunders 20x24 Pro Clutch Drive easel (the finest most accurate easel I ever used), 2- Kodak 2 way safelights (triangular shape that holds 2 filters and can be used in many different positions), Kodak Model A safelight (the more familiar bullet shape with one round filter), Boxes of uninventoried items like Nikkor s/s roll film processing tanks with 35mm & 120mm s/s reels, process, small gadgets, etc. are available to be included with large package purchases of the above items or, if I can find the time, will be inventoried later.
