Text: 2 years old. As new condition. Remote and manuals included. Bulb was replaced a few months ago under warranty from Panasonic (there was a nationwide problem on all of these TV's and Panasonic sent new bulbs out no questions asked, simple replacement, plug in module in front of TV).

I am moving to a place which has a built-in area for a smaller TV so this one has to go.

Make me an offer. MSRP $2500, on Ebay for $800-$1000 as a guide.

Panasonic's PT-50LC13 boasts all the qualities that have made today's HDTV-ready big-screen sets so popular! Once you check out its slim design, versatile connection options, and outstanding 50" widescreen picture, you'll be saying a glad goodbye to the days of bulky, blurry rear-projection TVs.
First big difference: the build. Unlike traditional analog big-screens, which could weigh hundreds of pounds, and were over two feet deep, the PT-50LC13 is extremely slim (about 18" deep!) and weighs less than 100 pounds. Placement is much easier as a result. This TV's convenient form factor is possible thanks to rear-projection LCD technology; without huge, heavy picture tubes, TVs can be slender and relatively lightweight.

Another advantage offered by the PT-50LC13's LCD rear-projection technology is "set-and-forget" operation. Traditional analog rear-projection sets tend to have "convergence" problems: the red, blue and green portions of the picture can become misaligned, causing little colored halos to surround images on the screen. But convergence problems are a non-issue with LCD. Plus, there's no concern over image "burn-in" ? you can watch sports programs with ticker tapes, or play a video game for hours on end, without leaving afterimages burned permanently onto your screen.

Of course, what really gets people's attention is the PT-50LC13's gorgeous, high-resolution picture. This TV uses built-in "scaling" to upconvert sources and display them as smooth, filmlike 720p progressive-scan video. DVDs look amazing and High-Definition programming will wow you

An often-forgotten, but very important, part of any TV purchase is the set's range of connections, and the PT-50LC13 has an unusually thorough range of connection options. To begin with, it's extremely PC-friendly, with two RGB PC inputs. One of the PC inputs is on the side panel, for easy connection of a laptop as needed. As far as audio/video connections go, you get four HD-compatible component video inputs and an HDMI digital audio/video input. You'll be able to hook up a number of high-definition sources before running out of inputs! Plus, the PT-50LC14 offers both an SD Card slot and a PCMCIA card slot, for viewing digital photos. You also get some special features designed with flexibility in mind. For example, the folks at Panasonic have thoughtfully included a user-replaceable lamp with an extremely long life of 10,000 hours ? much longer than the 5,000-8,000 hours you get from many other lamps. Viewers who hate black bars will appreciate the PT-50LC13's Zoom and Justify modes, which permit re-sizing of the picture to fill that wide 50" screen. Finally, the TV's picture-in-picture (PIP) function imposes no restriction on source resolution; for example, you can simultaneously see the 480p signal being sent from a DVD player and the 1080i signal passed along by an outboard HDTV tuner. These are perks dreamed up by true TV connoisseurs. Details:
