I needed a laptop for grad school in September and decided to buy an IBM T23. When I went to purchase the computer on eBay, my father told me he wanted one as well. I worked out a deal with the seller to get two of the exact same T23 laptops for $950 plus shipping. Unfortunately it took three weeks for the computers to arrive, and by the time they got to me my father had already purchased another laptop. Subsequently I have an extra basically brand new laptop to sell on Craigslist.
The computer is in almost perfect, brand new condition. It has a 30 gigabyte hard drive, 512 megabytes of RAM, internal WiFi, a brand new IBM battery, CDRW/DVD CD drive, a Pentium III-M 1.13 GHz processor, Windows XP Pro with service pack 2, a windows XP certificate of authenticity, MS office XP professional, Symantec Antivirus, integrated modem / network adapter, and a new AC adapter and carrying case. I have used my laptop for almost a month now without any problems, and swapped hard drives with this one and used it without problems as well.
