Text: I have five captive bred Ball Pythons available for adoption for $50/females and $40 for the one male. They just hatched three weeks ago and are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.
You may be able to find a cheaper Ball Python out there, but I doubt if you will find one healthier. These snakes have the best care and are guaranteed to be healthy with no mites/parasites. I also guarantee that they are eating. I feed them frozen/thawed rat fuzzies. Most pet stores feed them live mice and unfortunately Ball Pythons are imprint features which makes it more difficult to get them to switch to rats or frozen/thawed rodents. I can give you links on where to purchase frozen/thawed rats or mice online that will save you hundreds of dollars over the cost of live rodents.
Most (if not all) of the pet stores in this area purchase captive hatched Ball Pythons from Africa for about $3-$7 a piece then turn around and sell them to the consumer for up to $100. However those snakes usually come with a host of problems such as mites, ticks, internal parasites, dehydration, and many of them have never even eaten since they were hatched. You will also notice that most pet stores will keep them together in tanks, sometimes a dozen at a time with nowhere to hide and improper heating.
All of my snakes have the BEST conditions such as thermostatically controlled heat, their OWN cage, and a nice small hide for them to feel comfortable in. This will insure that your snake already has a good feeding response and is as unstressed as possible.
Being that these snakes were just hatched, I will not release them until they have eaten at least 4 meals on their own. You can still reserve your individual snake today and I will continue to take care of them until they are ready to be moved into your own cage.
