Oakland rockridge / claremont.Text: I have a pair of Audioengine 5 powered speakers, like new in box, that won't fit comfortably in my work room. So I'm looking to sell or trade them.These are *excellent* sounding speakers that are designed and crafted start-to-finish in house at Audioengine. They have two audio-in jacks and a USB port (for charging only) and so are ideal as a speaker system for an iPod, other mp3 player, Airport Express, computer, or any audio source. These are the white version. I set them up and used them a few times, but that's it. They sound absolutely excellent and I wanted to make them work but don't have the space. These are similar to studio monitors or bookshelf speakers in size -- not a cheap "multimedia' speaker, and not a subwoofer/sattelite setup. Asking $300 (they normally sell for $349) or very interested in trading for a 5.1 home theater system or a 23" or larger LCD HDTV (I would add cash and/or other things).
