Text: This is near flawless 1200 watt (3000 rms) 12 inch Digital Drive Series Velodyne Subwoofer, that I have owned it as a part of a music-theater system for a 1 year and 3 months. I have enjoyed it rarely to levels that are THX considered which basically means its been used very gently. Because of the Apartment building I live in, it was truly impossible to contain this monster without disturbing the neighbors. It matched all the acoustics of the room perfectly with the included microphone and adaptive room response system built into the software. If you don't understand what that means, it takes all of the frequency it hears by microphone and corrects in real time and saves it in the memory so its consistantly performing perfectly. It includes a remote with presets so that the sub can then perform with preset EQ's and a seperate volume controll. The software does have an upgrade now available at the website: www.velodyne.com , the new upgraded software is 2.2.0
I do not have the original box, but I have everything that was included in the original packages. Microphone, manual, and Remote. Be sure to realize this will be packaged better then when I bought it. It weighes 67 lbs. I will baby it like I have for the past year thru the process of transfering it to your hands. Please be very serious in the intention of this purchase, I do not want to deal with flakes in this case. Please also realize that immediate payment is due at purchase. As usual you may consider that I have had a near perfect selling experience on ebay. I do expect someone to buy whom is also that serious an ebayer. Please do not bid if you have no Ebay history. I have modified this subwoofer with a better subwoofer cable than the one included in the box. The cable will be yours as well, I was told this cable is the very same they include with the Digital Drive series 1812. So it was a no brainer when I attached it to this speaker.
