The first bike is the yellow Fuji 10 speed pictured, my girlfriend's old bike. It is from the 70s but runs well and is 100 dollars. It should fit someone around 5'6". The second bike is an unknown steel frame with Campagnolo dropouts and shifters and a mix of Shimano and Huret components. It is a bit of a beater but rides well and would be a great commuter.
