Text: For sale is a classic 1971 Jaguar XKE sports car with big V12 engine! Has automatic transmission, but 4-speed manual is available as well. What a rocket! I've owned this beauty for years, had a blast driving it all over the state, and have restored and maintained it in pristine working condition (including the electrical system...the great bug-a-boo of English cars!), with all new chrome and suspension. I've been waiting for the opportunity to give it a new paint job and upholstery, but life has gotten in the way the past year, and I have no idea when (or if) I'll ever get around to completing the work. I've temporarily removed the lights, etc, and sanded down the body in preparation for painting, and I've removed the seats to have them restored, but the car has just been parked in my garage in Belmont since then. It pains me to see it sitting there, more or less neglected, so I'm offering it for sale, to some lucky person who loves great sports cars and has the time to give it what it needs.
